Energy is the most important thing in Diggy's Adventure. It enables you to dig tiles.

When you first start out you will begin with a base line energy. You can earn 60 energy per hour by doing absolutely nothing. Here are some ways to create more energy per hour.

- Dig out your home camp and purchase regeneration equipment.
- Purchase rotor enhancer found in your shop under the extra tab. It will give you one energy per hour more per windmill.
- Purchase the Holland system. Found under the extra tab in your shop this will increase the maximum windmills you can have on your camp to eight instead of five.

## Regeneration Equipment

- Regeneration equipment can be purchased in the shop under the red tent tab. You can sort these by clicking on the separate buttons below the tab. Green bar is for regeneration, blue bar for capacity and green arrow/blue box for production equipment. You will need to dig out your home camp by using materials and coins to fit in more equipment.

## Capacity Equipment

- Capacity equipment is used to store the energy your equipment and windmills generate over time. If you are planning to be away from the computer for a length of time you will need to put out enough capacity equipment that your energy will not fill by the time you return. You will still need to leave out regeneration equipment but balance between the two. Look at your energy bar at the top of your game as you are placing equipment to balance it out.

## Windmills

- When you start out in the game you can have a maximum of 5 windmills on your camp. These give you energy per hour. You can not purchase them. Your neighbors have to place them on your camp. Windmills last for 7 days. Many facebook groups for the game have a pinned post to request them.

- Windmills are gift-able. Your neighbors will send them to you as a gift. These are not usable on your own camp they are for you to place on your neighbors camps. While they do go into your inventory (backpack) you will not be able to see them until you are on a neighbors camp to place them.

- To place a windmill on your neighbors camp. Click on their icon on the lower left of your screen. Once in their camp on the lower right you will see a number button like this 5/5 0/8 etc.The first number is how many they currently have, the second number is the max allowed on their camp. If it says 5/5 they are full and none can be placed. If they have any number less than the max you can place them either by clicking the number button or clicking on your backpack and placing them just like any other equipment.

- Windmills are also an achievement. Each windmill earns you 5 Experience points. You will need to place over 17,000 to complete the achievement. Placing windmills on Mr. Bill's camp counts towards this achievement, he also "sells" his mills every time you refresh his camp so you can place windmills there all day long as many times as you want.

## Holland System

- By purchasing this (in the shop under extras) you can increase your max windmills allowed from 5 to 8. This is a one time purchase and from the time you purchase it you will always have a max of 8. Holland system is available to purchase at level 25 for gems or level 40 for coins.

## Rotor Enhancer

- This is available for purchase multiple times depending on the level you are in the game. This increases the output of your windmills by one each. So if you have 5 windmills you get another 5 energy per hour and so forth. Rotor Enhancement is available to purchase at level 30 for gems or level 48 for coins an can be upgraded every 6 levels after that.
- This feature is
**not available in the mobile version of Diggy's Adventure**

If multiple neighbors place windmills on your camp all at the same time (ie: you have 20 windmills) and your max is 8 the extra windmills will not give you any energy sell down to max number allowed.

## God's Children

God's Children can be found in the Gods mines throughout Egypt, Scandinavia, China, Atlantis and Greece as well as in event mines. How they work will depend on the version of the game you are playing:

- In the browser version, the GC found in the mines will return to your camp. They can be clicked on every 3 hours up to 15 times for a maximum of 60 days for an energy burst and coins.
- In the mobile version, GC will provide the whole amount of energy at once and won't re-appear in the camp. The amount of energy is equal to the total energy that can be harvested from one god child in the browser over 15 clicks.

The amount of energy you receive from the Godchildren in the regular quest mines will vary depending on where you are in the story line and if you play the mobile version or browser. Event godchildren have the same payout for all players regardless of region or level. (Again varies by mobile or browser). Godchildren collected from your neighbors is based on level (see below).

The energy you receive by collecting godchildren in game from quest mines is your own personal energy and has no bearing on godchildren energy for neighbours.

You can also visit any of your neighbors with the blue icon to collect from their god's children. This is energy that is not taken from your neighbor but yours to collect and by sharing you also can pass energy on to them. New GC will become available at your neighbors' camps every 22 hours. Whether you have godchildren available in your camp or not, will not affect the algorithm for neighbours to visit and collect GC energy from you. This feature is **not available in the mobile version of Diggy's Adventure.**

One Click God Children is purchasable through the shop under the extra tab. This will collect from all god's children in your home camp or neighbors camps when visiting. (See Camp Equipment - Extras at https://wiki.diggysadventure.com/index.php?title=Camp_Equipment_-_Extras )

Depending on the number of neighbors you have this formula will tell you how many of your neighbors you can collect god children from daily. (Those with the blue icon)

Formula: (Square root of X) plus 3. X being the number of neighbors you have.

### Energy Sent/Received

When visiting your neighbors with the blue icon, you can collect energy from god children on their camp. This does NOT take any energy away from anyone. You are sending them energy and earning it yourself. Depending on the level of the neighbor you are visiting is how much energy you will receive for the visit.

Energy sent and received is now dependent both on the level and the region of the player. For example, a level 89 player in Egypt has god children worth 95 energy, but one in Scandinavia has god children worth 165 energy.

It is important to note, that no matter how many friends visit you during your absence, your incoming energy reward will be limited. The limits are region-based:

Egypt: 2000

Scandinavia: 4000

China: 6000

Atlantis: 8000

Greece: 10000

If you stay logged out for the game and get more energy from your neighbors at that time than the limit, that energy will be lost.

Are you like the rest of us and wonder what items to buy to increase your "**Regeneration Speed**", without wasting precious resources (wood, tin, copper, etc...)?

**Note!** You do **not** lose energy if your camp-setup does not meet the numbers on this page. Reloading the game will award you the extra energy not added at each Time Increment.

TIP! You will only restore a small amount of energy without items in your camp.Some shop items help you more than others as well

Below is the formula and a list of calculated energy vs. increments to help you in your decision making process.

**Formula:**

Regeneration Speed = RS, Minutes = M, Seconds = S, Time Increment = TI

Minutes * Seconds = 3600 (60 * 60)

Regeneration Speed/Hr. = (RS/3600) * TI

3600/TI = RS

**Example:**

(240/3600) * 15 [240 energy per hr. divided by 3600 (60 min. * 60 secs.)]

.066 * 15 = 1

That gives you +1 energy every 15 seconds at the rate of 240/Hr.
